Summary:
The Cloud Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs focused on cloud computing technologies to internal employees and external clients. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with various cloud platforms. The Cloud Technical Trainer will deliver engaging training sessions, develop training materials, and assess the knowledge and skills of trainees.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct training sessions on cloud computing technologies, including but not limited to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
2. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring trainees understand complex concepts and technologies.
3. Develop and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises.
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with industry best practices and the organization's objectives.
5. Utilize various training methods, such as classroom instruction, virtual training, and e-learning, to cater to different learning styles and preferences.
6. Assess trainees' understanding and skills through quizzes, exams, and practical exercises.
7. Provide timely feedback and guidance to trainees to help them improve their cloud computing knowledge and technical skills.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing technologies to enhance training programs.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop customized training programs for specific departments or client requirements.
10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys and performance assessments.
11. Assist in the onboarding process of new employees by providing cloud computing training as required.
12. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
5. Proven experience in delivering technical training sessions or workshops.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during training sessions.
7. Proficient in developing training materials using various tools and software.
8. Ability to adapt training content to different audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in cloud computing.
11. Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are highly desirable.
12. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus.
